Through a constellation of 66 low-earth orbiting (LEO) satellites operated by Boeing, Iridium delivers essential communications services to and from remote areas where terrestrial communications are not available.

Geolink, a tier1 distributor stands among the top partners.
More than 3,000 Iridium terminals have been provided and are care of by Geolink.

Eutelsat
Eutelsat is one of the world's leading providers of satellite infrastructure. It commercializes capacity through 24 satellites providing coverage from the Americas to the Pacific, serving more than 150 countries. Eutelsat's satellites offer a broad portfolio of services that include television and radio broadcasting for the general public, professional video broadcasting, corporate networks, Internet services and mobile communications.
Eutelsat has also developed a suite of broadband services for local communities, businesses and individuals.
Geolink has developed two main partnerships with Eutelsat:

  • Emsat

Geolink has equipped around 600 vessels in these regions with Emsat services.
Geolink Group is Emsat's first European service provider and holds more than 80% of the market.
  • African C-Band Service
Through its Atlantic Bird 3 satellite, Eutelsat provides full coverage of African continent at C-Band, allowing Geolink to offer its exclusive Geolink Access High Speed Internet service to small and medium African business and industries.
Geolink š Eutelsat exclusive partnership is widening, increasing and speeding-up the processes of African connectivity.

TeamOCEAN
TeamOCEAN has created the first sailing racing stable for Brossard. It is composed of a fleet of 7 ships, with a team of 1O sailors and 15 partners. A 60 feet-long monohull could also be added to the fleet for the "Vendée Globe 2008".

Lead by Yvan Bourgnon, the team competes in the main sailing races (including windsurfing races, trimaran and catamaran races). A team has been set up to ensure that all the partners benefit from a presence and a visibility.

Two main dimensions of the project stand out: the wish to develop a young team and the wish to increase the number of women. Thanks to the presence of Adrien Hardy (Mini), of Thibaut Vauchel (F18) and of two fifteen-year-old catamaran skippers, the continuity of the training and the future are ensured. The arriva of Servane Escoffier (Figaro) and of Sarah Hébert (the world's number two in windsurfing) give a real touch of femininity.

Since the beginning of the adventure, Géolink has brought its support, its skills and its faultless technology to the team. Among other things, this collaboration has allowed us to develop the equipments INMARSAT and IRIDIUM which have been put in Yvan Bourgnon's trimarans. They are now high-performance and reliable equipments.
